  • Also avoid taking any blood thinners and anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin, and Advil as they can increase the risk of bleeding

After the session, patients can expect some redness and slight swelling of the hair follicle. Mild discomfort or pain could last for two to three days after procedure, which can easily be treated with over the counter medication if needed. If you must be exposed to the sun, use an SPF 30 sunscreen at the least, exposing treated skin to the sun without sunscreen puts you at risk for skin discoloration.
